The extract is obtained from the shoots of an evergreen shrub of rosemary. This is a viscous yellowish-brown liquid with a fresh, slightly coniferous smell, which has a unique set of healing properties. This allows you to use it in a series of cosmetics and traditional medicine.
Rosemary extract is rich in a valuable chemical compound - rosmarinic acid. In addition, it contains:
- acids - ursolic, pantothenic, ascorbic, folic;
- turpentine;
- cineole;
- vitamins A, E, group B;
- iron, copper manganese, potassium, calcium;
- resins;
- tannins;
- flavonoids.
Useful properties of rosmarinic acid:
